Blue hydrangea card is 5.25″ by 5.25″ and printed in my studio on acid-free paper using pigment inks for incredible detail and long-lasting color. This art card is nice enough to frame or can be sent as a birthday or everyday greeting. The original photo is printed on the back of the card with location info and a little story.

About the art. The digital collage on this blue hydrangea card, titled Blue Lace, was created from this photo of a lace cap hydrangea taken in my gardens on Pleasant Hill, near Brookhaven, West Virginia. Beautiful lace caps are hard to find in a market dominated by showy mopheads. They’re worth the search, however, as the center disc of fertile flowers supports pollinators.

The color blue carries the energy of mental clarity and clear communication. The calm blue and delicate lines of this artwork gentle that energy, relaxing your mind and imbuing your words with kindness. The intricate pattern very much suggests a cathedral window, which opens to a blue sky and further clarity of mind. The lacy quality of the pattern also suggests connection, among people and beyond to the spirit realm.

Shipping. Up the three blue hydrangea cards are shipped USPS First Class without tracking. Larger orders are shipped via the most economical means, which usually includes tracking. Most orders are printed and shipped within three days.
