Queeny zinnia in shades of raspberry pink is reimagined in this original artwork created from a single photo. Printed as a 5.25″ by 5.25″ museum-quality folded blank note or birthday card, this piece can be framed or sent as a greeting. The original photo is printed on the back of the card with location info and a little story.

About the art. The digital collage on this card, titled Raspberry Zinnia, was created using a photo of a Queeny zinnia that I took in my gardens on Pleasant Hill near Brookhaven, West Virginia. This uniquely colored flower comes from the Queeny series, which includes varieties in dusky shades of orange, red, and pink, often dusted in lime green for an avantgarde look. Raspberry Zinnia is part of a series I created using photos of Queeny zinnias taken in the summer of 2025.

The flowers I chose to photograph were quite variable, sporting a wide range of color combinations and flower forms. The flower I used here was particularly beautiful—a light, bluish raspberry pink tipped in lime with a complex center of lush deep raspberry, surrounded by tubular petals of bright lime and threads of golden pollen.
