Welcome to the Milkweed Rising Shop

This is where you’ll find the nature mandala art of Linda Gribko to purchase. The folded art cards and 12″ x 12″ prints, which you’ll find in the Card Shop and Art Shop, are all museum-quality, on acid free papers with pigment inks. The totally frameable cards are coated to hold ink well and have a rich, velvety feel in-hand. Even the envelopes are beautiful—heavy and precisely crafted.

I’ve also recently added glass cabochon magents and laminated vinyl stickers to my offerings. I create both in my studio. The miniature artworks for the magnets are printed using the same paper and inks I’ve chosen for my prints and cards. The vibrant colors seem to glow under the glass cabachons, which magnify the details and give a 3-D effect. The waterproof stickers are printed with pigment inks on flexible vinyl and are laminated with a protective gloss layer to enhance durability.

In addition, I live close to the Fiestaware Factory Outlet in Flatwoods, West Virginia. On a visit a few years ago, I found hundreds of colorful little vessels begging for a succulent to fill them. Alas, they had no drain holes! I gathered several boxfuls and got busy cutting 1/2″ holes in their bottoms. Some have called this sacrilege but I’m calling it good fun and have made a selection of Fiestaware teacups, bowls, and boxes with drain holes available.

Not to be forgetten, I wrote and published two books in a series I called Ellie’s Story. Giving Voice to Dawn and The Lion’s Apprentice are a fun, mystical duo of books that follow buddies, Ellie and Neil, as they flee the corporate grind and set off on an adventure that mixes earth magic with American history. Both are currently available in paperback and on Kindle and I also sometimes have signed paperbacks available.

Finally, I offer basket weaving and native plants/gardening for birds workshops. I’ve taught basket weaving off and on since the mid-80’s and recently started offering classes again. Native plants and gardening for wildlife are absolute passions for me that I just have to share!

To help you efficiently find what you’re looking for, I’ve organized the shop into departments stocked with cards, art prints, magnets, stickers, Fiestaware succulent planters, and workshop offerings. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, definitely try the search feature but also feel free to contact me.

I hope you find something here that will bring you great joy!
