Weave a Heart-shaped Valentine Basket Workshop (In-Person) – 2/14/2026
$45.00
Basket Weaving Workshop: Saturday, February 14, 2026, 1-4 p.m. at The Ferry House in Maidsville, West Virginia.
Celebrate Valentine’s day in community while weaving a heart-shaped country basket (11.5″ across and 4″ high), and enjoying rose-scented white tea and a sweet treat. This make-and-take workshop is appropriate for adult beginners, but any level student is welcome. In addition to your finished basket, you’ll also receive a sheet of illustrated instructions and the web address for purchase of additional materials, should you be inspired to make more baskets.
Please register and pre-pay here up to one day prior to the workshop. This class is limited to 10 students. Because I need to prepare materials in advance, I’ll not be able to take walk-ins. Please arrive by 12:45 so you’ll have time to get settled before class starts at 1:00. You’ll need to bring a few tools, which are listed below.
Appropriate for adults and truly interested teens, with the target age 14 years and beyond. Please, please don’t enroll or bring along younger children. See the full description below for additional information.
