Queen Orange zinnia mandala card is 5.25″ by 5.25″, printed in my studio on acid-free paper using pigment inks. These are the same materials I use to create fine art prints, making this folded blank note or birthday card absolutely frameable. The photo that I used to create the mandala art is printed on the back of the card with location info and a little story.

About the art. The digital collage on this card, titled Queen Orange Zinnia, was created using a photo of a zinnia that I took in my gardens on Pleasant Hill near Brookhaven, West Virginia. This uniquely colored flower comes from the ‘Queen’ series, which includes varieties in dusky shades of orange, red, and pink, often dusted in lime green for an avantgarde look. Queen Orange Zinnia is part of a series I created using photos of ‘Queen’ zinnias taken in the summer of 2025.

The flowers I chose to photograph were quite variable, sporting a wide range of color combinations and flower forms. The flower I used here was one of my favorites—an ombre bloom that graded in color from bright lemon yellow, through shades of soft tangerine, to a base of dusky orange. The small, bright pink center was also special and I matched its color to create magical bubbles floating up from the depths.
