Light and Love Affirmation Card
$6.50
Light and love affirmation card with a coneflower mandala is a nice reminder that love leads the way. Note the little hearts notched in the petals and the way the coneflower emerges from what appears to be a dark tunnel. This card is perfect for anyone trying to keep the faith as they navigate difficult times. Makes for a particularly powerful altar card.
This 5″ x 7″ folded light and love affirmation card is digitally printed using the pigment inks on silky, bright white, acid-free paper that’s a joy to write on. It comes with a beautifully made envelope but is also very much frameable and will stay vibrant indefinitely if kept away from harsh light. The photograph I used to create the mandala is printed on the back of the card with the photo location and a special wish for the recipient. Interior of the card is blank.
About the Art. I took the photo used to create this mandala, titled Coneflower of Love, in one of my flower beds on Pleasant Hill. The sweet miniature heart, replicated eight times in the mandala, began as a notch in one of the flower petals. The number “8” is symbolic of infinity, so there’s a message here of endless love.
The rich, velvety green of the background is meant to evoke a crushed velvet box in which a treasure might be presented to a true love. This dark background might also evoke a dark and mysterious tunnel. The affirmation I wrote for this piece reminds us all that endless, true love is always accessible and ready to lead the way through any situation.
Shipping: The card and envelope are packaged together in a plastic sleeve and mailed in a stiffened mailer. Note: orders of up to three cards are shipped USPS First Class without tracking. Larger orders are shipped via the most economical means, which usually, but not always, includes tracking. Most orders are printed and shipped within three days.
Returns: Returns of items in new, undamaged condition are accepted within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping to be paid by the customer.
Framing. This card is created using high-quality materials, such as might be used in a museum. The print is sharp, bright, and frameable. To protect the vibrancy of the artwork, I frame using UV glass or acrylic, and I recommend it. If you use plain glass or acrylic, make sure you hang this sweet, little piece and all your beautiful art away from direct sunlight.
