Garden vegetable art card digitally printed using pigment inks on silky, bright white, acid-free paper. Folded card is 5.25" by 5.25" and comes with a beautifully made, bright white envelope. The paper is super smooth, not slick, and takes gel, ballpoint, and other inks well.

Perfect as an autumn birthday card or frame it as a little gift for yourself or someone else. The photograph of a mustard leaf that I used to create the mandala is printed on the back of the card with the photo location and a little story. Interior of the card is blank or choose greeting from the choices below.

Interior Message Choices: Blank, Happy Birthday

Shipping. The card and envelope are packaged together in a plastic sleeve and mailed in a stiffened mailer. Up to three cards are shipped USPS First Class without tracking. Larger orders are shipped via the most economical means, which usually includes tracking. Most orders are printed and shipped within three days.

Framing. This card is created using high-quality materials, such as might be used in a museum. The print is sharp, bright, and frameable. To protect the vibrancy of the artwork, I frame using UV glass or acrylic, and I recommend it. If you use plain glass or acrylic, make sure you hang this sweet, little piece and all your beautiful art away from direct sunlight.

About the art. The digital collage on this card, titled Mustard Ball, was created using this original photo of the underside of an incredibly beautiful edible mustard leaf taken at Phipps Conservatory and Botanic Garden in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I took this photo with my phone by holding it upside down, a technique to try when photographing low-growing plants and fungi.

This piece is quite autumnal, decked out as it is in rich russets, golds, and greens. The ample shape suggests a pumpkin or rotund squash, viewed from above. Note the ripe spikes of wheat hidden in the patterning, which appears to have been carefully embroidered on shiny satin. Squint just a bit and you might find the petals of an abstract sunflower among those careful stitches. Grounding and restful, this piece also carries the energy of abundance and satisfaction.
