The photograph I used to create the mandala is printed on the back of the card with the photo location and the story of the symbolism used in the artwork. To protect the vibrancy of the artwork, I frame using UV glass or acrylic, and I recommend it. About the art. I created the mandala on this card, titled Celtic Wedding, using a photo of woodland stonecrop sedum taken at the Core Arboretum in Morgantown, West Virginia. The colors I used in the mandala are symbolic. Green represents love and the gifts of the natural world. Red is grounding, but is also associated with love, passion, and brightly burning embers. The tenderly glowing red ring in the center of the mandala reprents unbroken union, burning on a green grate surrounded by a protective wreath of entwined white flowers, where white is suggestive of pure intent.
