Turquoise Fiestaware Succulent Pot
Turquoise Fiestaware teacup with a hand-cut drainage hole makes for the perfect succulent pot. Each sweet little teacup is 2 3/4″ tall and 3 1/2″ wide at the lip, smoothly tapered, and finished with a heart-shaped handle.
These are factory seconds and, although the photo represents the quality of the pieces I have in stock, each is unique with its own minor flaws. Expect small variations, primarily in glaze coverage, which are often barely noticeable and will not affect the pot’s suitability as a home for your favorite succulent or other small houseplant.
Turquoise Fiestaware succulent pot began as a teacup, but the addition of a 1/2" hand-cut drainage hole has transformed it into the perfect home for a small succulent, cactus, or other well-mannered houseplant. This sweet little pot is 2 3/4" tall and 3 1/2" wide at the lip, smoothly tapered, and finished with a heart-shaped handle. I like to fill mine with Haworthia offsets, single violas, and tiny cacti. These Fiestaware succulent pots are also nice homes for Kusamono gardens. Kusamono is related to bonsai, but consists of herbaceous plants like grasses and tiny flowering forbs grown singly or arranged in miniature scenes.
Your turquoise Fiestaware succulent pot will be cool aqua blue and nicely shaped, but the pieces I sell are factory seconds, so you should expect some variation in glazing or small flaws, such as tiny bumps, in the the surface of the pottery. Glazing variations might include inconsistent coverage with some areas, such as a teacup rim, appearing lighter than the rest of the piece. Sometimes glaze is missing from a small area or was applied a little too heavily. Once in a while, a small dark mark will show through the glaze from the surface of the pottery. Many pieces, however, have no discernable defect, and might be overstock or retired colors. All are authentic Fiestaware and, as such, are bright, fun, heavy-duty, and made with high-quality materials.
