Through the Looking Glass Mandala Poetry Card

In stock

This mandala is truly special!  Through the Looking Glass evokes the wonder of the West Virginia woods during spring ephemeral wildflower season…that short-lived moment in time when the forest explodes into color.  If you’re lucky enough to live near Morgantown, West Virginia, you’re able to enjoy the show right in your own hometown at the Core Arboretum, where I took the photo of bluebells that is the basis of this piece.

If you’ve not yet experienced the magic, stop by next April and step into the vernal wood…put winter at your back…wood nymphs twirl and bluebells ring…climb through the looking glass. The show truly is amazing.

This blank card is approximately 5″ wide and 7″ tall (portrait orientation) and is printed on premium 100 lb. white matte paper. A white envelope is included. The original color photo and the story of the piece are printed on the back of the card.

Linda Gribko is an author, artist, and photographer living in Morgantown, West Virginia. She's known for her wildflower photography and the mandalas that she creates from her nature photos. Her quirky first novel, "Giving Voice to Dawn", was published in November 2016. It's the magical romp of a woman plucked by the Universe from the cubicles of Corporate America and dropped into the crease between "this world and that" where Spirit Animals carry messages, disembodied voices spout wisdom, and you never know who might show up to walk you back home.
