Shipping. The card and envelope are packaged together in a plastic sleeve and mailed in a stiffened mailer. One or two cards are shipped USPS First Class without tracking. Three or more cards are shipped via the most economical means, which usually includes tracking.

Framing. This card is created using high-quality materials, such as might be used in a museum. The print is sharp, bright, and frameable. To protect the vibrancy of the artwork, I frame using UV glass or acrylic, and I recommend it. If you use plain glass or acrylic, make sure you hang this sweet, little piece and all your beautiful art away from direct sunlight.

About the art. The digital collage on this card, titled August Lace, was created using this original photo of Queen Anne’s lace and goldenrod taken in the old reservoir basin at the West Virginia Botanic Garden near Morgantown. Goldenrod is a keystone pollinator plant in West Virginia, where at least forty different species can be found.

You can almost heard the cricket and katydid song just looking at this mandala, can't you? I took the photo in early August when the late summer insect chorus had just begun to roll. I found gorgeously delicate Queen Anne's lace and bright goldenrod at trail's edge and shot several photos of the blooms and some interesting black and white wasps working the goldenrod for pollen. The energy of this piece is mean to transport you, no matter the current weather, to that late summer day of crystal blue sky and insect song.
