This mandala greeting card is a Milkweed Rising exclusive and is printed from an original work of digital art created by Linda S. Gribko. Meet the exotic kangaroo paw, a native Australian plant that I actually got to touch at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I’m happy to report that it’s as sweetly fuzzy as it looks. I used a photo of a kangaroo paw bloom as the basis of Heart Surgery, a mandala to contemplate when you’re craving a little heart opening action. Yes, those are forceps pulling back your chest wall (I hope it doesn’t hurt too much) and those are frog faces you’re seeing in a ring. Frog carries the energy of purity, so chances are good you won’t be cracking open the darker corners of your heart as you meditate with this mandala. Instead, I have a pretty strong suspicion that you’ll experience pure love streaming in and pure love streaming out. (And the uneven rays in the center are intentional, symbolizing the imperfections of the messy, fuzzy human heart).
This blank card makes a wonderful Everyday or quirky Get Well greeting. It’s 5″ wide and 7″ tall and is printed on premium 100 lb. white matte paper, suitable for framing. A white envelope is included. The original color photo and story of the piece are printed on the back of the card.
Please note the watermark shown in the photo does not appear on the printed card.
