This mandala greeting card is a Milkweed Rising exclusive and is printed from an original work of digital art created by Linda S. Gribko. Cosmic Pop is part of my 2016 Pop Series of vibrant reconstructed single blooms. Cosmos are one of my favorite flowers–they’re bright, they bloom most of the summer, they grow in poor soil, and they bob in the breeze so beautifully on slender, but tough, stems. Their brightly colored petals and clear yellow eyes bring a pop of old-fashioned happiness to my gardens. In addition to all that, the strong pink of the bloom I used to create this mandala is very much associated with the heart and love, be it romantic, platonic, or the happy-to-be-alive-and-grateful-for-every-moment sort. As you contemplate this mandala, may your heart fly open to receive all the bright and happy love streaming from the cosmos just for you.

This blank card makes a vibrant, retro Everyday, Mother’s Day, or Birthday greeting. It’s 5″ wide and 7″ tall and is printed on premium 100 lb. white matte paper, suitable for framing. A white envelope is included. The original color photo and story of the piece are printed on the back of the card.

Please note the watermark shown in the photo does not appear on the printed card.

Linda Gribko is an author, artist, and photographer living in Morgantown, West Virginia. She's known for her wildflower photography and the mandalas that she creates from her nature photos. Her quirky first novel, "Giving Voice to Dawn", was published in November 2016. It's the magical romp of a woman plucked by the Universe from the cubicles of Corporate America and dropped into the crease between "this world and that" where Spirit Animals carry messages, disembodied voices spout wisdom, and you never know who might show up to walk you back home.
