Thru the Looking Glass

Original mandala art created using a photograph taken by Linda S. Gribko. One of my pieces that evokes a stained glass panel, ‘Through the Looking Glass’ began as a photo of Virginia bluebells in strong sunlight. I took this photo in the Core Arboretum in Morgantown, West Virginia. I had seen a note online indicating that the spring emphemeral wildflowers were blooming at the arboretum, grabbed my camera and went to check it out. Stepping into that wildflower display was very much like stepping through the looking glass into a magical world of color, as represented by this colorful and magical piece.
